I have finally caught up with the world outside Kyoto and am so upset to hear about all the fires in Southern California! I hope that everyone is ok! I did just talk to my Mom last night, so I am going to take no news as good news? Every year So. Cal does tend to get its fair share of brush fires but this one seems to be reminiscent of the 1993 Malibu fires. I wish, wish I could be back in California right now to be with everyone, I am there in spirit. Love.
